Qualification & Experience:
- Relevant experience of 12-15 years.
- Bachelor’s degree in
Accounting, Finance, or a related field (mandatory).
- Professional certification
desirable.
Roles
& Responsibilities:
Financial Management & Reporting:
- Analyzing complex
financial records and reports and oversee accounting operations
- Prepare and review
financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and
cash flow statements.
- Manage month-end and
year-end closing processes.
- Provide financial advice
to senior management to support decision-making and strategic planning.
- Reconciling and processing
invoices, expense reimbursements, bank transactions to preparing financial
statements, reports, etc.
- Collaborate with auditors
during internal and external audits.
Budgeting & Forecasting
- Develop, implement, and
monitor annual budgets for multiple projects and offices.
- Provide accurate financial
forecasts and variance analysis.
- Evaluate project
profitability, including detailed cost analysis.
- Participate in financial
aspects of tenders, contracts, and project evaluations.
Taxation & Compliance
- Handle VAT/GST and
corporate tax filings in accordance with the regulatory requirements of
the Middle East and India.
- Stay updated on changes in
tax laws and financial regulations affecting operations in the regions.
Accounts Payable/Receivable &
Payroll
- Supervise the processing
of accounts payable and receivable transactions.
- Oversee payroll
operations, including employee benefits and tax compliance.
- Maintain strong
relationships with banks, vendors, and clients to manage receivables and
payments.
Requisite Skills &
Competencies:
- Excellent communication and
presentation skills, Fluency in English is mandatory.
- Proficiency in accounting
software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or Oracle), Advanced knowledge of
Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.
- Familiarity with project
accounting and cost control.
- Knowledge of engineering
project billing practices and revenue recognition is an advantage. UAE
experience desirable.
