Roles & Responsibilities:
Team Leadership & Project Management:

Lead
and mentor the naval architecture team, fostering technical growth and
collaboration.
·
Allocate
tasks, monitor progress, and ensure timely completion of project milestones.
·
Plan
and manage schedules and resource allocation for naval architecture activities.
·
Conduct
technical reviews, quality checks, and approve team deliverables.
·
Ensure
smooth coordination among multi-disciplinary teams and effective communication
with project stakeholders.
Client Engagement & Project Delivery:
·
Maintain
and strengthen client relationships, serving as the primary technical point of
contact.
·
Conduct
design presentations, technical reviews, and status updates with clients and
stakeholders.
·
Ensure
all deliverables meet client expectations and industry standards.
Technical Expertise:
·
Oversee
and contribute to hull form design, stability calculations, weight estimations,
and hydrostatic/hydrodynamic analyses.
·
Perform
basic structural and scantling calculations in compliance with Class/IMO
regulations.
·
Review
and approve GA drawings, midship sections, and structural arrangements.
·
Ensure
designs comply with classification society rules (e.g., DNV, ABS, BV) and
international maritime regulations.
·
Conduct
site surveys and onboard vessel inspections as required.
·
Review
and finalize technical documentation, including design reports, analysis
summaries, and calculation sheets.
Innovation & Continuous Improvement:
·
Stay
updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and regulatory changes.
·
Promote
the use of advanced digital tools such as CFD, FEA, and 3D modeling in design
processes.
·
Encourage
process improvements and adoption of best practices within the team.
Qualifications & Skills:
·
Bachelor’s
or Master’s degree in Naval Architecture or Marine Engineering.
·
10+
years of experience in ship design and naval architecture, with proven
leadership experience.
·
Strong
knowledge of classification society rules, IMO regulations, and industry
standards.
·
Hands-on
experience in hull design, stability, hydrodynamics, and structural analysis.
·
Excellent
project management, communication, and client-facing skills.
· Proficiency in relevant software (e.g.,
Rhino, Maxsurf, AutoHydro, GHS, AutoCAD, FEA/CFD tools).
