Overview:
Responsible for creating accurate and detailed 3D models and 2D drawings for
structural components used in marine and offshore construction projects. The
role demands proficiency in advanced CAD software, knowledge of structural
design principles, and an understanding of the unique challenges in the marine
and offshore environments.
Experience: 1 to 3 years
Qualification: DIPLOMA/ITI IN MECHANICAL/MARINE ENGINEERING
Key Responsibilities:
· Develop and
maintain detailed 3D models of structural components for offshore platforms,
vessels, rigs, and other marine structures.
· Generate 2D
fabrication and assembly drawings from 3D models with a high level of
precision.
· Collaborate
with structural engineers, naval architects, and project teams to ensure
accurate interpretation of design requirements.
· Ensure
compliance with industry standards, such as ABS, DNV, API, and other marine and
offshore regulations.
· Coordinate
with fabricators and other stakeholders to resolve design-related queries and
ensure model accuracy.

Conduct clash
detection and interference checks using CAD tools such as CAD (2D & 3D), NAVIS WORKS, RHINO, TEKLA to
identify and resolve potential conflicts.

Regularly
update and manage model revisions based on engineering changes and client
feedback.
Qualifications and
Skills:
· Proven
experience as a CAD Modeler, preferably in the marine and offshore sectors.
·
Proficiency in
CADMATIC will be an added advantage
Requisite knowledge in CAD and 3D modeling software such as CAD (2D&3D), NAVIS WORKS, RHINO, TEKLA.
· Strong
understanding of structural design and fabrication processes for marine and
offshore structures.

Knowledge of
international codes and standards (e.g., ABS, DNV, API).
·
Excellent
problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
· Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary
team and meet tight project deadlines.
