Overview: Responsible for assisting in the preparation of detailed structural
drawings and models for marine and offshore construction projects. This
entry-level role supports senior team members in ensuring accurate and
compliant deliverables while gaining hands-on experience in detailing for
complex structural systems.
Experience: 1 to 3 years
Qualification: DIPLOMA/ITI IN MECHANICAL/MARINE ENGINEERING
Key Responsibilities:

Assist in
creating 2D drawings and 3D models for structural components of marine and
offshore structures, such as vessels, rigs, and platforms.

Interpret
engineering and architectural drawings to develop detailed fabrication and
assembly plans.
·
Ensure
compliance with applicable industry standards and project specifications.
·
Collaborate
with senior detailers, engineers, and fabricators to understand project
requirements and resolve design challenges.
·
Update and
maintain drawing documentation based on revisions and feedback.
·
Perform basic
quality checks on drawings and models to ensure accuracy and consistency.
·
Support
material take-offs and preparation of detailed schedules under supervision.
·
Stay updated
on relevant CAD tools and industry best practices.
Qualifications and
Skills:

Educational background in drafting, engineering, or a
related field, with a focus on CAD applications.
·
Familiarity with CAD software such as CAD (2D&3D),
Tekla, ,
NAVIS WORKS, RHINO or equivalent tools.
·
Basic understanding of structural design principles
and fabrication processes.
·
Willingness to learn and adapt to industry-specific
codes and standards.
·
Strong attention to detail and eagerness to develop
technical skills.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
and manage tasks effectively under supervision.
