Overview: Responsible for assisting in the preparation of detailed structural drawings and models for marine and offshore construction projects. This entry-level role supports senior team members in ensuring accurate and compliant deliverables while gaining hands-on experience in detailing for complex structural systems.

Experience: 1 to 3 years

Qualification: DIPLOMA/ITI IN MECHANICAL/MARINE ENGINEERING

Key Responsibilities:

·        Assist in creating 2D drawings and 3D models for structural components of marine and offshore structures, such as vessels, rigs, and platforms.

·        Interpret engineering and architectural drawings to develop detailed fabrication and assembly plans.

·        Ensure compliance with applicable industry standards and project specifications.

·        Collaborate with senior detailers, engineers, and fabricators to understand project requirements and resolve design challenges.

·        Update and maintain drawing documentation based on revisions and feedback.

·        Perform basic quality checks on drawings and models to ensure accuracy and consistency.

·        Support material take-offs and preparation of detailed schedules under supervision.

·        Stay updated on relevant CAD tools and industry best practices.

Qualifications and Skills:

·        Educational background in drafting, engineering, or a related field, with a focus on CAD applications.

·        Familiarity with CAD software such as CAD (2D&3D), Tekla, , NAVIS WORKS, RHINO or equivalent tools.

·        Basic understanding of structural design principles and fabrication processes.

·        Willingness to learn and adapt to industry-specific codes and standards.

·        Strong attention to detail and eagerness to develop technical skills.

·        Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage tasks effectively under supervision.
