Overview: Responsible for Identification and design of basic & detail
engineering of control & instrumentation systems for new build platforms/
vessels such as Oil & gas Offshore platforms, rigs, oil tankers, bulk carriers,
passenger vessels, small vessels etc. Also responsible for providing
engineering support on major conversion projects such as FPSO, FSO and FSRU.
Requisite experience of 5-7 years with Shipyard, Offshore / Oil & Gas industry in design office.
Producing basic
and detail engineering deliverables for Control & Instrumentation based on
P&ID''s, project specific design standards and requirements by
classification society if applicable.
Developing
cause & effect diagrams for HVAC systems, ESD Systems, F&G Systems and
obtaining necessary class approvals
Developing
Control System Architecture for DCS/ PLC/ SCADA, ESD, F&G/ SIL Systems
Developing
datasheets/ RFQ for Control valves, ESD valves, Blow-down valves, Pressure
Safety Valves and Field Instruments
Selection of
Control valves, ESD valves, Blow-down valves, Pressure Safety Valves
Selection of
Electro-Pneumatic Process Instruments & Control Systems, which include
Flow/ Level/ Pressure/ Temperature - Transmitters/ Switches/ Gauges.
Selection of
Analyzers, Custody-Measurement Equipment/ Sampling Systems, Fusible Loop
systems, Pneumatic/ Hydraulic & Electronic Controllers
Experience with
major Control System vendors from technical bidding stage till installation and
commissioning completion.
Developing
Process Control System, ESD and F&G Philosophies
Implement the
day-to-day operations assigned for the engineering department/section to ensure
compliance with the established standards and procedures
Qualification & Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Control
& Instrumentation Engineering or Electronic/ Electrical Engineering.
Proficient with software such as
InstruCalc,
In Tools, Control Systems: - DCS, PLC/SCADA,
Protocols, Networks, ESD and F&G Systems.
